4. LEGAL FOR TRADE
When the indicator is used in trade or a legally controlled application it must be set up, verified and sealed in accordance with
local weights and measures regulations. It is the responsibility of the purchaser to ensure that all pertinent legal requirements
are met.
4.1 Settings
Before verification and sealing, perform the following steps in order:
1. Verify that the menu settings meet the local weights and measures regulations.
2. Units menu should be reviewed. Verify the units turned on meet the local weights and measures regulations.
3. Perform a calibration.
4. Block changes to calibration and metrological settings by following the steps below.
4.1 Using a screwdriver, remove the screw that holds the security
cover. Then remove the cover
4.3 Reinstall the cover and fasten it with the screw.
4.2 Verification
A weights and measures official or authorized service agent must perform the verification procedure.
4.3 Sealing
After the scale has been verified, it must be sealed to prevent undetected access to the legally controlled settings. Before
sealing the device, ensure that the jumper is installed on connector J1

4.4 Data Label
The data label should be placed on the white plastic strip next to security switch cover as shown above. The measurements
should not exceed 21 x 83 mm.

4.2 Install the jumper on both pins of connector
