Caustic or corrosive cleaners

Oven cleaners

Cleaners that are caustic, contain chlorine or are
aggressive

Cleaners containing large proportions of alcohol

Hard, scratchy dish-washing sponges, brushes or
scourers
If such an agent comes into contact with the
appliance, wipe it off immediately with water.
Thoroughly wash out new sponge cloths before using
them.
Cleaning the appliance
NOTICE: Remove jewlery from arms and hands
before cleaning the appliance.
Clean the appliance after each use, once it has
cooled down. Remove spilled fluids immediately; don't
let any food remainders dry up.
You can detach the sealing element for cleaning (see
chapter "Removing and installing the metal grease
filter"). You can clean it in a dishwasher. Also clean
the interior of the downdraft ventilation regularly.
Dried-up grime can also be removed with our special
fat-removing agent (order number 311297).

Stainless steel
Apply dishwashing liquid – dry off with a
surfaces
soft cloth. Only use a little water for
cleaning; no water must be allowed to
penetrate into the appliance.
Soak dried-up grime in a little water and
some dishwashing liquid. Do not scrub it
off.
Use our stainless steel cleaner (order
number 311413) to remove extreme
soiling or yellow discoloration caused by
heat..
Operator
Dishwashing liquid – the cloth must not
controls
be too moist. Wipe dry with a soft cloth.
Cleaning the metal grease filter

WARNING
Risk of fire
Grease deposits in the grease filter can ignite.
Clean the grease filter at least every two
months.
Never operate the appliance without the grease
filter.
Notes
‒
Do not use any aggressive, acidic or alkaline
cleaning agents.
‒
When cleaning the metal grease filters, also clean
the metal grease filter holder in the appliance
with a moist cloth.
‒
You can clean the metal grease filters in a
dishwasher or by hand.
In the dishwasher:
Note: Slight discoloration can occur when cleaning
the grease filters in a dishwasher. This has no
influence on functioning of the metal grease filters.

Do not clean extremely soiled metal grease filters
together with dishes.
▯
Place the metal grease filters loosely in the
dishwasher. The metal grease filters must not be
jammed in.
▯
Place the metal grease in the dishwasher with the
openings pointing downwards.
