Run-on function

Ideal for later ventilation of the kitchen area. The run-
on function is only possible in level 2.
1 Open the sealing elements.
Note: At least one sealing element must be open
as otherwise the fan will not switch on.
2 Press in the control knob and turn it to the left to
the run-on function
The illuminated ring behind the control knob
flashes.
The run-on time is ten minutes. Ventilation is turned
off automatically after this time has elapsed.

Risk of burns
The appliance gets hot during operation. Only
touch the sealing element at the marked area.
The ventilation elements can be opened and closed
independently of one another. Open the sealing
elements wherever someone is cooking.
Note: At least one sealing element must be open as

Opening the sealing element
1 Press on the marked area
element.
The sealing element is unlocked.
2 Swivel the sealing element to the left and press it
down until it engages.

it down until it engages.

Ventilation molding

If downdraft ventilation is used next to a gas
appliance, a ventilation molding AA 414 010 must be
fitted on the gas appliance during cooking. The
ventilation molding improves extraction when using
gas appliances. The ventilation molding prevents
extinction of small flames due to the draft.
