and injuries.
Wear sturdy shoes that cover your entire foot.
The use of the motoazada with bare feet or with
an open shoe or sandals, increases the risk of
injury.

get caught with moving parts, increasing the
risk of injury.
Be alert, use the motoazada when tired or when
under the influence of alcohol or drugs can cause
serious injury.
Keep people and pets away from the area to be
worked.
Check that the resistance bar is in place and that
it is correctly adjusted.

Safety with children

• Keep children indoors and control them at all
times when there is any motor equipment
in operation in the vicinity, as children move
quickly and are attracted to the motor hoe and
the activity it performs.
• Never assume that children will be where
you last saw them. Be alert and turn off the
motoazada if you see a child entering the work
area.
• Do not allow any child to use the motor hoe
even under adult supervision.

Operator Responsibility
Fire and burn risk
Gasoline is extremely flammable and its gases are
explosive.
Be careful when using gasoline and keep it out of
the reach of children.
Rest in a well ventilated place with the engine
off.
Let the engine cool before refueling. Fuel vapors
or any fuel spillage can ignite.
Both the engine and the exhaust system become
very hot during use and remain hot a while later,
even after the engine has been turned off. Do
not touch any engine component as it may burn
and be careful because some materials may
catch fire.
Be careful not to touch the engine or exhaust
system when they are hot.
Allow the engine to cool before performing any
maintenance or storing the motor inside.
Danger of carbon monoxide poisoning
Flue gases contain carbon monoxide, a
poisonous, colorless and odorless gas.
Inhalation of this gas can cause loss of
consciousness and even death.
If you use the engine in a closed or even partially
enclosed area, the air you breathe could contain
a significant amount of this dangerous gas.
To prevent this gas from accumulating, have
adequate ventilation of the place.
Use on earrings
When plowing on a slope, keep the fuel level
below half of its capacity to minimize possible
fuel spillage.
Work the cross of the slope (with the same space
interval) instead of from top to bottom.
Be careful when changing direction on the slope
with the motor.
Do not use the motoazada on a slope with an
inclination greater than 10º.
