The circuit is inserted and assessed with safety laboratory cables. For operation on grid voltage, ensure that
the supply voltage is not short-circuited by the switches, as this can destroy the switches.

10 Function

The Emergency Light Controller EduTrainer
as in the connecting cables to the fluorescent lamp. In case of a failure of the mains supply, the lines to the
electronic ballast are interrupted and the fluorescent lamp is supplied via the emergency light module and
the integrated battery. For circuits with two fluorescent lamps, only one lamp lights up in emergency
operation.
Using the -S1 switch, a power failure can be simulated. For this, switch switch S1 to the "0" position. As a
result connection L is switched so it is free of voltage and the power supply to the downstream boards and
the emergency light module is interrupted. This leads to activation of the emergency light module, which
now takes on activation of the fluorescent lamp.
An internal relay separates the emergency light module from the battery when de-energized or after the
supply voltage has been shut down. As a result voltage-free build-up of the circuit is possible and the output
voltage of the emergency light module is likewise shut down in case of danger when shutting down the
supply voltage.

is connected to the corresponding supply unit when the power supply is disconnected.
Attention
The device must only be operated on a current-limited feed unit. Maximum backup
fuse 10 A(T).
The device may only be operated with a connected PE conductor.
