6. Maintenance and Disposal
6.1. Maintenance of Battery
To prolong battery life it is recommended to fully charge the displaying unit at least every
third month. If the battery is discharged the procedure can take up to 3 hours. The battery
should be charged at temperatures between 10 - 35°C.
If the battery needs replacement, only use spare parts supplied by Ambu. Do not modify
the spare parts. For more information contact your local Ambu representative.
6.2. Disposal
At the end of product life, open the displaying unit and dispose the battery and displaying unit
separately in accordance with local guidelines.
