Leak tests

Dräger recommend performing a leak test prior to safety-relevant
measurements and recommend against use if a leak test fails. There
are two options for a leak test:
1
When the instrument is switched on, the leak test will be offered as
an option.
2
The leak test can be set as mandatory in the password-protected
menu.
The default setting of the Dräger X-act 5000 Basic is that the
mandatory leak test must be performed after 1000 strokes
(=100 L).
12
If the leak test is mandatory, "LEAK TEST" will be shown in the upper
line of the matrix display. The
right-hand side of the segment display. The Dräger X-act 5000 Basic
cannot be used until the leak test is passed.
The user will be prompted to start the leak test every time the pump is
switched on. The leak test cannot be skipped once it is saved as
mandatory in the settings of the password-protected menu.
If the leak test is selected, the user will be prompted to insert an
unopened tube and start the test. When the leak test is passed, the
green LEDs will flash. When the "OK" key is pressed, the modes of
operation will be offered.
NOTICE

i
If the leak test failed, the modes of operation will be inactive.
The instrument will display "LEAK TEST ERROR" and the
