Portable Digital Voice Amplifier
These instructions are intended for users without any spe-
cific technical knowledge . Please read these instructions
carefully prior to operating the unit and keep them for
later reference . All operating elements and connections
de scribed can be found on the fold-out page 3 .
1 Operating Elements and Accessories
1 Battery status indication and power indication
blue
= unit is switched on, battery sufficiently charged
yellow = battery must be recharged
green = battery is fully charged
red
= battery is being charged
2 Retaining elements for the fixing plate (D)
3 VOLUME control
4 ON / OFF switch
5 3 .5 mm jack MIC for one of the microphones
6 3 .5 mm jack LINE for connection of a unit with line out-
put (e . g . CD / MP3 player, radio)

2 Safety Notes

The WAP-7D and the charger correspond to all relevant
directives of the EU and are therefore marked with
WARNING The plug-in charger uese dangerous mains
voltage . Leave servicing of the charger to
skilled personnel only . Inexpert handling or
modification of the charger may result in elec-
tric shock .
The charger is suitable for indoor use only . The WAP-7D
and the accessories are also suitable for outdoor applica-
tions if they are not exposed to precipitation or humidity .
In any case protect all parts against dripping water and
splash water, high air humidity and heat (admissible am-
bient temperature range 0 – 40 °C) .
Do not set the charger into operation, and immediately
disconnect it from the mains socket if
1 . there is visible damage to the WAP-7D or to the charger,
2 . a defect might have occurred after the unit was
dropped or suffered a similar accident,
