6 Operation
1) For switching on, set the sliding switch (4) to position
ON . The bar indicator (1) turns blue . When it turns yel-
low, the battery must be recharged (
the bar indicator turns from yellow to red, the WAP-7D
may be operated while the batteries are charged .
2) Adjust the volume with the control VOLUME (3) .
3) When using the miniature microphone (A), switch it
on with the switch (a) [upper position] . During breaks
when talking it can be switched off (lower position), so
that it does not pick up any disturbing noise .
CAUTION! Do not hold the microphone towards the
speaker or too close to it; otherwise, a loud and un-
pleasant feedback howl will occur . This feedback howl
may also occur when the volume is too high . In this
case, use the VOLUME control to reduce the volume .
4) To switch off, set the sliding switch (4) to position OFF .
