This manual contains safety and operating instructions. Read it carefully before using the device for the first time and
keep it in a safe place for future reference.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

This booster is designed for starting 12V vehicles. It contains one 12V internal battery with a 28Ah capacity.
CHARGE THE INTERNAL BATTERY
WARNING!
Before using the device turn the knob to OFF.
Charge the device once bought and after each use with the charger provided.
Do not use another charger than the one provided with the device.
This device is delivered with an automatic charger (for the internal battery), double insulated with a floating system
enabling to keep the internal battery charged to 100% unsupervised.
To charge the internal battery :
• Place the device vertically during charging to avoid acid leaking and damaging the internal battery.
• Connect the charger to a 230V power supply, The green LED lights and the cigarette lighter LED lights red. Connect
the cigarette lighter plug into the side of the device.
• Turn the knob to 12V to start charging. If the knob stays is on OFF or 24V it will not charge.
• The charger LED turns red when the cigarette lighter plug is connected. The charge is in progress.
• The device is charged once this LED turns back to green.
CONNECTION AND DISCONNECTION
IMPORTANT! Before connecting to a battery, check the device is not connected to the power supply and the switch is
OFF (if any).
Secondly, check the polarity of your battery.
Warning: The cables must not be pinched or in contact with hot or sharp surfaces
Starting and Charging a battery installed on the vehicle:
Where the negative pole of the battery is connected to the vehicle chassis
• Connect the red clamp to the positive pole of the battery.
• Connect the black clamp to the vehicle chassis, ensure it is not close to fuel lines and the battery.
• Connect the device to the mains.
• After use, turn the switch to OFF (if any), then disconnect the charger from the mains supply then disconnect the black
clamp and finally the red clamp.
Some vehicles have the positive pole of the battery connected to the chassis, in this case:
• Connect the black clamp to the negative terminal of the battery.
• Connect the red clamp to the vehicle chassis, ensure it is not close to fuel lines and battery.
• Connect the device to the mains.
• After use, turn the switch to OFF (if any), then disconnect the charger from the mains supply then disconnect the red
clamp and finally the black clamp.
USE IN STARTING MODE
Precautions before use
• Do not disconnect the battery from the vehicle. Disconnecting the battery may result in loss of information and a
possible inability to restart.
Starting
• Once the Booster connected to the battery following the recommended instructions (see connection and disconnection),
turn the switch to the ON position.
• Go to the vehicle driver side. By turning the key you activate the starter function. If your engine does not start, wait
3 minutes between two start attempts. If you don't wait and/or the starting attempt last too long you might lose power
and so decreasing your chance to start the vehicle. Start attempts must not exceed 6 secondes.
• After use follow the recommended instructions for disconnection.
The device must be charged after each use in order to keep its batteries in good condition.
