Functions and description
The anchor loops are transportable, provisional anchor points
compliant with standard EN 795 class B to which a fall arrest
personal protective equipment is attached, such as a lanyard
equipped with an energy absorber (EN 355) or an automatic fall
arrester (EN 360).
The anchor loops are available in the 19mm-wide (AS19) and
30 mm-wide (AS30) versions. The AS30 anchor loops are
certified in accordance with the CE and CSA standards.
These can only be used to secure one person at a time.
They must never be used to tie down or transport loads
(see fig. 4) .
Installation
Place the anchor loop around a structure having a resistance of
at least 10 kN (See fig. 3) .
Use an EN 362 connector to fasten the fall arrest system.
Insofar as possible, the structural anchor point must be located
at a height of between 1.5 and 2 meters above the user's feet.
For connection of the fall arrest system to the fall arrest harness,
refer to the harness manual in order to use the correct fastening
point and the right method for hooking up.
CAUTION
Before and during use, you must have a rescue plan
which can be carried out efficiently and safety within
15 minutes if necessary. Beyond 15 minutes, the fallen
