Steps for Installation and Setup

Below you will find the basic steps to the followed to correctly set-up the IP Decoder:
1.- Connect the IP Decoder to the system you want to manage remotely.

2. - Connect the IP Decoder to the Local Network or Internet.

3.- With the Decoder powered up, re-establish the IP Decoder's factory settings.
Press and hold the reset button for 3 seconds .
4.- Configure the IP Decoder.
Via a PC connected to the same network as the decoder, access the Decoder's
web server and configure the following parameters (see the «Configuration»
section):
4.1- Assign an IP address to the Decoder.
4.2- Configure «User Name» and «Password».
4.3- Configure the «Serial Port» parameters.
4.4- Configure the «Listening Port».
5.- Using the management software, configure the necessary connection parameters
to establish a connection with the IP Decoder.
