If the brightness is low:
Check the Brightness setting in the menu.
Remember that there are different settings for
Picture and Text modes.
Check that both lights over the reading table are
working.
If there is a lot of glare:
Reduce the Brightness setting in the menu.
Reduce the external lighting effects.
If the reading table does not move over the
expected range:
Check the Margin Stops.
Check for obstructions under the reading table.
If the Page Locator light does not appear:
Remove any paper from the reading table and then
see if the Page Locator light is visible against the
surface of the table.
Certain colors on your reading material may
camouflage the color of the Page Locator light.
If there is a limited number of false colors:
Hold down the Text and Picture buttons together for
five seconds until you hear a beep.
