1. Open the Main Menu by holding down the Brightness
button.
2. Navigate to Preferences by turning the Zoom knob.
3. Select Preferences by pressing the Brightness
button.
4. Move through the items in the Preferences menu by
turning the Zoom knob on the Front Control Panel or
pressing the ↑and ↓ keys on the Keypad.
5. Cycle through the options for each item by pressing
the Brightness button on the Front Control Panel or
the ← or → keys on the Keypad.
The Preferences menu includes:
A separator toggle for the calculator so that you
can choose either a fullstop or comma for the
calculator's decimal point.
An operator toggle for the calculator, to switch
the function key display (+, -, x, and ÷) On and
Off.
A clock toggle, to switch between the 12 and 24
hour clock.
A time out function, to set the time delay before
the lamps turn off when a PC is attached.
The lamps turn off automatically if you have a PC
or external camera displayed and have not
switched to the SmartView Xtend screen after a
certain period of time. You can set this period to
be anywhere between 2 seconds and 10 minutes,
