2. While looking at the screen, position the document
so that the red light on the screen is aligned with
where you need to start writing.
3. Now look at the reading table and position your pen
on the red dot. Look at the screen again. Your pen
should be in the correct place.
4. Begin writing.
Preset Button
Use this button to preset a zoom setting of your choice.
For example, if there is a particular level of
magnification that you like to use often, you can store
the level in the machine.
To store a zoom setting, hold down the Preset
button until you hear a beep.
To select the stored zoom setting when you are in
normal zoom, press and release the Preset button.
Handy Hint
Preset the magnification for documents that you read
regularly (such as the newspaper).
Then whenever you change the magnification to read
other documents, you can simply push the Preset
button to restore the magnification to read the
newspaper again.
