between Freeze Focus and Auto Focus. When you have
the Brightness button set to Freeze Focus, you can use
it to switch between Freeze Focus and Auto Focus.
To set the Brightness button so that it works as a
Freeze Focus button:
1. Navigate to Brightness button by turning the
Zoom knob.
2. Switch between Brightness button and Freeze
button by pressing the Brightness button.
To exit the menu, press the Text or Picture button.
To return to Auto Focus, turn the zoom knob or press
the Brightness button.
When you have the Brightness button set to Freeze
Focus, you can use it to switch between Freeze Focus
and Auto Focus.
Note: When the Brightness button is set so that its
primary function is Freeze Focus, you can still use the
Brightness Option in the Main Menu to change your
brightness. See Brightness (on page 17).
When the SmartView Xtend is powered up, the
Brightness button is always set to function as a
brightness control.
