Our behavior on the trails today is leading for our sport in the future. Everybody is responsi-
ble for our sport's image. Respect for the environment and social responsibility are the keys
for a peaceful coexistence of all trail users.
IMBA (International Mountain Bicycling Association) developed the «Rules of the Trail» to
promote responsible and courteous conduct on shared-use trails.
Rules of the Trail:
• Ride on open trails only
• Leave no trace
• Control your bicycle
• Always yield trail
• Never spook animals
• Plan ahead
