RHINO CLEAR® Ergo Plus is a medical device for home use.
What is it?
RHINO CLEAR® Ergo Plus is a NASAL WASH SYSTEM specifically designed to ir-
rigate and treat adult and child nasal cavities, both with saline solution and with
medicated solutions for aerosol use, depending on the medical prescription.
How does it work?
RHINO CLEAR® Ergo Plus connected to a FLAEM compressor nebulises solutions
to irrigate the nasal cavities; nebulisation is activated by a button on the handle.
On the body of the NASAL WASH SYSTEM there are two adjacent chambers: one
for the solution to nebulise and the other for the recovery solution. Nasal adapters
are inserted on the upper part of the NASAL WASH SYSTEM. They are available in
3 different sizes depending on the size of the user's nostrils.
When do I use it?
RHINO CLEAR® Ergo Plus can be used for:
1. Nasal cavity physiological irrigation (saline solution or thermal water). It is
useful to help with nasal hygiene in children. In adults, it favours physiological
irrigation of the nose and can be used before aerosol treatments in the respira-
tory tract in order to help distribute the medication.
2. Therapeutic washing: medicinal administration through RHINO CLEAR® Ergo
Plus must take place on recommendations from a doctor or pharmacist, who
defines the type of medication, the doses and the duration of the treatment.
3. Help children breathe well: in fact, up to 1 year of age, children breathe exclu-
sively through their nose. If their nose is clogged, they have trouble breathing,
wake up during the night, have trouble eating and cry often. Considering that
up to 3 years of age children are not able to blow their nose by themselves,
the mucous containing bacteria, viruses and dust stagnates in the nasal cavi-
ties. There are two most recommended ways to flush out the nose well: nasal
washing and mucous removal; for washing we recommend RHINO CLEAR®
Ergo Plus and for the removal of mucous the nasal aspirator for children of the
FLAEM Baby Line.
