9.2 Frequency measurement

Supposing that the value X has been adjusted at the previous stage (displayed on the counter in
brackets). Start timing by pressing START/STOP and stop timing by pressing START/STOP once the
xth stroke has been completed.
The number of strokes (strides) per minute is displayed on the lower line and the time is shown on
the upper line.
Count the time INTERVALS between the impacts and not the impacts themselves.
E.g.: impact.....impact.....impact.....impact = 3 strides and not 4
Comments:
1. If you press the START and STOP button too quickly (less than 1/8th of a second
(0.125 secs), you will get an « ERROR» message. This shows that the value is too
high.
2. If your press the START and STOP buttons over too long a time period, you will
get an « ERROR» message. This means that the time period is too long and that the
STROKE measurement is unusable for analysis.

• damage resulting from repairs carried out by persons not authorised by OXYLANE.
• batteries, casings that are cracked or broken or with traces of knocks.
• During the warranty period, the item will either be repaired free of charge by an authorised repair
service or replaced free of charge (depending on the distributor).
