Loss of suction
6.1.1. Check if the dust cylinder is full, if so then please
empty.
6.1.2. Check the floor tool, hose or tubes and filter, for
any blockage. Once the blockage is cleared you may
use the vacuum again.
6.2. Reduction in suction:
If reduced suction occurs, below is a list of causes:
6.2.1 HEPA type filter could be blocked due to not be-
ing cleaned regularly, or the bagless dust compartment
is full and should be cleaned.
6.2.2. While operating the appliance, one should keep
it far away from any heat source. Before cleaning
commences, please ensure that the appliance and all
hoses and extension tubes are free of large or sharp
objects as this can cause damage to the appliance or
accessories.
6.2.3. When removing the plug from the wall socket,
do not pull the power supply cord. Place hand directly
on the plug and remove from the wall socket.
Should the appliance make a strange or abnormal
sound during operation, switch it off. Clean out the
appliance as well as all the piping and ensure that all
accessories are attached correctly to the cleaner.
NOTE:
This appliance is fitted with a cord rewind mechanism.
If the cord, plug or mechanism is damaged, please take
the appliance to the nearest repair centre so that the
damaged components can be repaired by the correct
personnel.
Disposing of electrical appliances:
Do not dispose of electrical appliances
as unsorted municipal waste, use
separate collection facilities.
Contact you local government for information regarding
the collection systems available.
If electrical appliances are disposed of in landfills
or dumps, hazardous substances can leak into the
