Thank you for your interest in the LANAFORM® POMMY humidifier.
EN
There's nothing more important than your child's well-being, which is why LANAFORM® has designed the Pommy humidifier. With its
10-hourbattery life, Pommy ensures your little one will have peaceful nights. Its attractive design and blue light will help calm your child.
Running quietly and with an adjustable vapour flow rate, POMMY will ensure your child's nights are long and relaxing. Its ventilation
system diffuses water in the form of cold vapour, thus providing the level of humidity required.
PLEASE READ ALL THE INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USING YOUR HUMIDIFIER, ESPECIALLY THIS BASIC SAFETY INFORMATION:
• Use this device only according to the instructions for use given in this manual.
• Check that your mains voltage is the same as that of your device.
• Use only ORGANIC, water-soluble essential oils with the "Pommy" humidifier.
• This device is not intended for use by people (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or people with
lack of experience or knowledge, unless someone responsible for their safety can supervise or instruct them beforehand on how to use the
device. Children should be supervised to make sure they do not play with the device. The "Pommy" humidifier is not a toy.
• Do not use accessories that are not recommended by Lanaform or that are not supplied with this equipment.
• If the power cable is damaged, it must be replaced by a special or similar cable available from the supplier or its after sales department.
• Do not use this device if the plug is damaged, if it is not working properly, if it has been dropped on the floor or if it is damaged or has
fallen into water. Have the device examined and repaired by the supplier or its after-sales department.
• Always unplug the device after use and before cleaning it.
• Unplug a device that has fallen into water immediately before retrieving it.
• An electrical device should never remain connected unsupervised. Unplug it when you are not using it.
• Keep the power cable away from hot surfaces.
• Never use this device in a room where aerosol products (sprays) are used or in a room where oxygen is being administered.
• This unit is intended only for family use.
• Never obstruct the device's air vents and never put the device on an unstable surface such as a carpet or mattress. This could prevent
ventilation. Make sure that the ventilation holes are not clogged with hair, fluff, dust, etc. Do not insert any objects.
• Always place the humidifier on a hard, flat, horizontal surface, at least FIFTEEN centimetres away from walls and sources of heat such as
ovens, radiators etc. The humidifier cannot run properly on a surface that is not horizontal.
• Do not use this device near any area where water is present or close to any electrical device or wooden furniture.
• Never try to connect or disconnect this device if you are in contact with water or in a damp atmosphere. This could pose a risk of electric
shock.
• Never immerse or dip the device in water or any other liquid to clean it.
• The ultrasound humidifier must be cleaned regularly. To do this, consult the cleaning instructions in this handbook and follow them.
• Never remove the base unit.
• If water is leaking from the device or if there is an unusual smell when it is being used, stop using this product immediately and return itto
your supplier or its after-sales department.
• Do not add ANY substance other than distilled or demineralised water to the reservoir at a temperature below 40°.
• Never switch the humidifier on when there is no water in the reservoir.
• Do not shake the device. This might make the water spill over into the base unit and prevent it from working.
• Never touch the water and the submerged components when the unit is working.
• To prevent components being damaged in any way, do not splash the inside of the base unit.
• Do not use essential oils that are not recommended for diffusion.
• Do not use perfume or synthetic essences as these could damage the device.
• Never scrape the transducer.
• If the temperature falls below 0°, please empty the water from the reservoir and the base to prevent freezing.
• Do not use the humidifier if the air in the room is already sufficiently humid (relative humidity of at least 50%). Excess humidity manifests
itself in the condensation on the cold surfaces or the cold walls of the room. To measure the room' s humidity correctly, use a hygrometer
available in most specialist shops and hypermarkets.
• We recommend using the device at a temperature between 5 and 40°C at a relative humidity of less than 50%.
