PCI Modem Quick Start
This Quick Start describes PCI faxmodem installation for personal
computers using Windows 95/98/Me/2000 and Windows NT 4.0. Please
make sure you have the following items: modem, telephone cord, and
installation and communications software on diskette(s) or CD-ROM.
Windows 95/98/Me/2000 Users:
You need to run the setup software before installing the modem hardware.
Skip to Installing the Drivers below.
Windows NT 4.0 Users:
You need to install the faxmodem card in your computer before running the
setup software. Please go to Installing the Faxmodem Card on page 2.
Installing the Drivers

Your computer should be turned on. Close any running
applications.
Insert the CD-ROM disc that came with your faxmodem into
your CD-ROM drive. If the CD does not start up automatically,
click the My Computer icon on your desktop; then double-click
the icon for your CD-ROM drive. If the installation program
doesn't start immediately, double-click launch.exe.

When the installation window appears, click the PCI Drivers
button.
For Windows NT, you will also see a screen similar to the one
below. Make sure that the Install new modem driver and
components button is selected and click Next.
