4.3 Subsequent treatment

In order to protect the weighing platform, carry out the following subsequent treatment:
➜ Rinse the weighing platform with clear water and remove cleaning agent completely.
➜ Dry off the weighing platform with a lint-free cloth.
➜ Oil the stainless steel weighing platform regularly from above and below with an oil
suitable for foodstuffs.

4.4 Disposal

In conformance with the European Directive 2002/96 EC on Waste Electrical and Electronic
Equipment (WEEE), this device may not be disposed of with domestic waste. This also
applies to countries outside the EU, according to their specific requirements.
➜ Please dispose of this product in accordance with local regulations at the collecting
point specified for electrical and electronic equipment.
Disposal of pneumatic springs of the lifting device
The pneumatic springs must not be opened or heated.
The pneumatic springs may only be opened according to the manufacturer's
instructions.
The oil filling of the pneumatic springs must be disposed of according to the
manufacturer's instructions.
