A. Shoulder Suspension Tower System: Shoulder Suspension System (AR-1650S) is an
advanced patient positioning system for lateral shoulder arthroscopy.
B. Arm Sleeve Connector (AR-1650-02): The Arm Sleeve Connector is comprised of
three different sections. The top section in blue can be rotated to loosen or tighten
the grip of the hook at the top. The bottom section in black is where the Arm Sleeve
will click into place. The grey bell section can be rotated to lock the black clip
section in place to restrict rotation of the arm. Finally, there is a plastic circle divider
separating the sterile and non-sterile fields. The plastic divider can be found in the
Arm Sleeve Disposable package.
C. Lateral Traction Sling Connector (AR-1650-03): The lateral sling connector is used
to connect the Shoulder Suspension Tower Frame to the Lateral Traction Sling. Use
the tensiometer on the Lateral Traction Sling connector to determine the amount
of traction needed to properly position the patient.
D. Weight hanger (AR-1650-04): 10lbs (4.5kg), Weight Hanger (AR-1650-04) attaches
via its hook to the triangular receiver which hangs from the back of the Tower.
E. Weights (AR-1650-05): 2.5 lbs (1.1kg) (5weights Included per system) Each Weight
(AR-1650-05) weighs 2.5lbs (1.1kg). They are stacked onto the Weight Hanger by
aligning the slot of the Weight with the post of the Weight Hanger and sliding down
over the cone of the Weight Hanger.
F. Storage Cart, Shoulder Suspension System (AR-1650-06): Careful storage of the
Arthrex Shoulder Suspension System can help prolong its life. It is recommended
that the system be stored in the Storage Cart (AR-1650-06). The Cart features
locations for each component to secure and protect them and make
transportation easier.
