IO-Link connection
The IO-Link is connected using a 5-pin connector. Connect the leads to the connector (2) on the
hybrid motor starter. The 24 V of power is supplied via A1/L+ and A2/L-. IO-Link communication
is through C/Q. The terminals labelled NC are not assigned.

Enable input
To start operating the motor connected to the device, the enable input must be used to enable
the device. As soon as the enable input (at terminals EN+ and EN) has a valid signal, the device
accepts control commands via the bus connection.
For non-safety related applications, enable can also be activated by bridging the terminals (EN-)
and (-) and terminals (EN+) and (+). Power interruptions ≤ 3 ms or voltage pulses ≤ 4 ms are
filtered.
