5. Mounting and connecting the circuits

WARNING! Risk of fatal injury from electric shock!
Never work on live parts
Block circuit diagram
Main circuit
Contact to the power source is made when placed on the CrossBoard
adapters. Make sure that the interlocks are clearly engaged.
The load is connected with the device via the connector. Use a strain relief to prevent the
connector from coming loose accidentally. Pay attention to the phase sequence.
The following information applies to the fuses used.
16 A FF / gR (10 x 38 mm) / 10 kA / 500 V
16 A FF / gR (10 x 38 mm) / 50 kA / 500 V
20 A FF / gR (10 x 38 mm) / 5 kA / 400 V
20 A FF / gR (10 x 38 mm) / 50 kA / 500 V
30 A FF / MR (10 x 38 mm) / 30 kA / 500 V
Control circuits
Operate the control supply voltage and control voltage inputs with power supply modules as per
IEC 61131-2 (max. 5 % residual ripple). To avoid inductive or capacitive coupling of interference
pulses in long control wires, we recommend the use of shielded wires.
Push-in terminals
Insert rigid or flexible conductors with wire-end ferrules directly into the terminal space (A). Secure
contact of flexible conductors without wire-end ferrules by first opening the spring with the push
button (B). Likewise, use the push button (B) to release the conductor.
