Obtaining accurate measurements

Always take your blood pressure at the same time while sitting
in the same position and using the same wrist.

best in the morning before breakfast and in the evening after work.
• Relax and take a comfortable position on a chair for about 5 minutes
before you take the measurement.
• Avoid to do any heavy work or sport for approx. 1 hour before the
measurement.
• Avoid to eat, drink (coffee, alcohol) or smoke cigarette for approx. 1 hour
before the measurement.
Always rest for four to five minutes before taking your blood pressure.
