Preparing for first-time use

Inserting / replacing the batteries

Remove the battery housing cover and insert the batteries as
shown on the picture. Close the battery housing.
Replace the batteries when this symbol
blinking in the display.
Only use alkaline batteries.
Remove the batteries during longer periods of inactivity
in order to avoid damaging the instrument.
