1.1 Normative and prescriptions
Read carefully the contents of this handbook, it contains important information and
•
instructions for installation, use, maintenance and product safety. This handbook must be
ridden and study in all parts, otherwise it will be consider as " Improper Use " and a not
correct employ of the Lincar equipment.
The appliance must be installed inside an environment considered suitable for
•
installation and use by competent authorities. All laws, standards and regulations in force
on the installation site must be observed, especially regarding fire prevention.
Technological connection and appliance installation must be carried out by qualify staff
•
authorized to release a conformity certificate according with the normative in force and
current standards.
All the normative concerning civil town planning and/or industrial in force must be
•
respected inside environment installation of appliance.
All laws, standards and regulations in force on the installation site must be observed,
•
regarding: gas and flues, electricity, water and steam, drains and waste disposal, forced
ventilation/extraction, air intake and air conditioning. All the local and energy supplier
authorities prescriptions must be respected.
The installation must be carried out and certified according to the normative in force
•
regarding: work safety and accident prevention regulations, hygiene and health, fire
prevention, no-panic safety for activities open to public.
The appliance conforms to the Gas Directive 90/396/EEC and has therefore been issued
•
with a CE certificate issued by a notified body. It meets the following gas regulations:
EN 203 + subsequent updates;

EN 437 + subsequent updates.

Current installation safety regulations must be complied with.
The manufacturer declines any kind of responsibility in presence of problems
•
caused by a not correct installation, use or tampering.
1.2 Preliminary operations
Make sure that the appliance is supplied complete and it has not been damaged during
•
transport. In case of doubt, do not use the appliance and contact immediately the
supplier.
Before appliance connection, check the technical data plate (a duplicate is reported on
•
pag. 20/64) to make sure that the appliance has been tested for the type of gas with which
it is to be operated; on the contrary proceed with the transformation operations according
to the new gas type following the instructions reported on chapter 1.7 on this handbook.
Check with the technical data plate that the capacity of pressure reducing valve is
•
sufficient for appliance's feed.
Remove protective films and adhesive labels and eliminate all traces of adhesive with
•
petrol. Do not use aggressive solvents to clean plastic parts.
To install the appliance horizontally, correct position is obtained by turning the levelling
•
feet.
A shut-off valve (of a type clearly showing the Open and Closed positions) must always
•
be installed upstream of the appliance in an easily accessible position. Do not use types
with removable keys.
