Your bicycle is fitted with disc brakes. This system is based on
pads which exert pressure on a disc attached to the wheel hub.
The intensity of the pressure is controlled by the lever with a
liquid via the pressure exerted in the hose. Do not operate the
brake lever when the wheel is detached from the frame.
To align the disc brake caliper:

Loosen the brake caliper fixing bolts.

Brake with the corresponding brake lever (the brake
caliper is positioned correctly) and hold the brake lever in
this position while tightening the caliper bracket fixing
screws.

Release the brake lever and check that the brake pads are
positioned at 0.2 - 0.4 mm from the disc. If this is not the
case and you are not familiar with this operation, contact
a qualified technician.

Never spray oil or any lubricant on the disc or pads (when
servicing the chain or the derailleur, for example). If this
happens, you should remove the grease from the pads
and disc, or replace them.

Check the alignment of the pads by turning the wheel.
Tip: Brake pads are standard, replace them when your pad no
longer has a friction component. Remember that new brake
pads must be broken in. They are broken in by riding for a few
minutes and alternating between sudden stops and light
braking.
Recommendations for brake adjustment and friction
component replacement

The brake lever should not be in contact with the
handlebars.

The sheaths should not be bent at right angles or folded
so that the cables can slide with a minimum of friction.

Disc brakes should be checked regularly: Check all brake
bolts and brake pads for wear, their thickness should not
be less than 1 mm.

Brake adjustment must be carried out in accordance with
the instructions provided in the previous section. It is
advisable to have these adjustments carried out by a
qualified mechanic.

When replacing friction components in the brake system,
use original parts to ensure that the performance of your
bicycle is maintained.

table.
WARNING: Do not touch the disc brakes after
heavy use of the braking system on your
power-assisted bicycle, as they could burn you.
d) Mounting the pedals

- The right-hand pedal has a normal thread, screw it to crank
arm clockwise.
- The left-hand pedal thread is reversed, screw it in anti-
clockwise.

e) Tension and adjusting the chain
Your bicycle is fitted with an tensioning
system through which the chain is
automatically tensioned.

Gear operation and adjustment
Your bicycle has several manually interchangeable gears thanks
to a Shimano Nexus 7 speed system integrated into the rear
hub. This transmission system does not use an external
derailleur, the gear change is done in the rear hub.
Use the right-hand lever to make the desired gear change.
Be sure to shift one gear at a time on the speed selector. When
shifting gear, reduce the force applied to the pedals. It is
possible to change gears when pedalling slightly.
The higher the number, the harder it is to pedal.
WARNING: For optimal use of the gear change
system (whether manual or automatic), it is
recommended that you do not change gear
when you are pedalling hard and that you
switch to the most suitable gear change
combination before stopping to facilitate
restarting.
Attention, never pedal backwards during the
gear change and never force the control lever.
g) Suspension adjustment

up of cylinders which absorb the shocks.
