PLAYING DVD/MPEG4 FILES
Use the arrow keys to select a search option:
• Title: Enter the title number using the numeric keypad.
• Chapter: Enter the chapter number using the numeric
keypad.
• Time: Use navigation buttons to select a field (hour,
minutes, seconds). Use the numeric keypad to enter
the field values.
Press ENTER to confirm: playback starts from the title,
chapter or time selected, if the value entered is valid. Press
SEARCH again to close the search window without making
a choice.
Selection of subtitles
During playback press SuBTITLE successively to display
the desired subtitle.
Zoom
During playback or pause, press ZOOm several times to
reach the desired zoom level (x2, x3, x4, x1/2, x 1/3, x 1/4)
on the image. The seventh time (Stop) switches back to the
original image.
Use navigation buttons to move around on the enlarged
image.
Playback information display
Press DISPLAY repeatedly to display Playback information
on the screen.
Press DISPLAY to hide Playback information.
Chapter selection
Use NEXT or PREv to select the next or previous chapter.
Chapters can be selected using the numeric keypad
Fast forward, fast reverse
During playback or pause, press successively F.BWD or
F.FWD to accelerate the scrolling of images back or forward
(x2, x4, x8, x20). A fifth pressure can return to playing at
normal speed.
modifying viewing angle
Choses the angle of view from which the scene can be
viewed ( available only on some DVDs) or changes the
photo scanning mode.
Changing the audio language
During playback, press AuDIO successively to switch
between available languages, channels or encoding
methods.
Repeat play modes
During playback, press successively REPEAT A-B to select
the repeat mode of your choice:
• Repeat Chapter: Repeats currently playing chapter/
track.
• Repeat title: Repeats currently playing title.
• Repeat all: repeats the integrality of the DVD or the
MPEG4 file being played.
• Repeat Off: Cancels repeat mode. Returns to normal
playback.
• Repeats A-B: Repeats a section of, chapter, track or
title.

Program playback
• During playback, press PROGRAm: The program menu
appears on the screen.
• Use navigation buttons to scroll through the different
fields. Use numeric keypad to enter valid title/
chapter number. A maximum of 16 sequences may be
programmed.
• Select the PLAY option and press ENTER to trigger
playback of sequences.
• To cancel the recorded programme, select the option
CLEAR and press ENTER.
• Press the key PROGRAm to cancel the programmed
playback function.
