The Leica Rangemaster can also be used for
continuous measurements (scan mode):
Press and hold the main button
activated a second time. The device switches to
scan mode after about 2.5 s and will then
measure continuously. Scan mode is indicated
by a change in the display. A new measured
value appears every 0.5 s.

Scan mode is particularly useful for measuring
the distance to small, moving targets.
Notes
• In scan mode, the
AbC
shown only after the fi nal measurement.
• Power consumption is much higher in scan
mode than for single measurements.
