ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
The device requires installation by skilled, expert and qualified personnel.
TOUCH can either be mounted on the mobile or fixed part of the gate or door. In either case the
purpose of the device is to prevent damage or injury from crushing or impact.
Positioning of the device is shown in examples in Pic. 1.
Sliding gate systems
Double leaf swing gate systems
1 - Unscrew fastening screws from upper cover
and remove the cover from TOUCH (Pic. 2 -
particular 1).
2 - Unscrew fastening screws from lower cover
and remove the cover from TOUCH (Pic. 2 -
particular 2).
3 - Mark the upper side (S) of the fastening slot
on the side of the aluminium profile (Pic. 2
- particular 3).
4 - Position the safety strip in its proposed working
position. In case of vertical mounting, keep a
minimum distance of 30 mm from the ground
(Pic. 2 - particular 2).
5 - Drill a hole in the wall at about 7 mm below
the reference point and fix the spring with
opportune screws for metal or wall anchor
screws (Pic. 2 - particular 4).
6 - Position TOUCH on the spring and secure it in
place by pulling downward.
7 - Mark the holes to be drilled in the wall in
correspondence with -C- and -D- (Pic. 2 -
particulars 1 and 2).
8 - Remove the profile and drill the holes as
indicated into the step above.
* Once the safety edge is fixed, make sure there
are no gaps in between the parts indicated.
The rubber profile and the parts above it, must
perfectly adhere to avoid the passage of rain or
insects.
TOUCH must be fixed to the aluminium rail, with its leading rubber edge facing in the direction
of any eventual impact as indicated in Pic. 1.
