Congratulations on purchasing
your Hands Free Amplifier for
Mobile Phones. We hope it will
give you many years of reassu-
ring operation.
Please read through these ope-
rating instructions carefully.
They tell you how to set up the
system correctly and explain all
the system's features to you.
Functional principle
The PL -200 boosts the sound
signal of your mobile phone.
A 3.5 mm jack can be used for
connecting standard head-
phones (8 to 32 ohm). It is also
possible to connect hearing
aids directly using an audio
connector (monaural/binaural).
Conducting phone calls
1. Connect a set of headphones
to the connection socket and
insert the 2.5 mm jack plug
into the connection jack
socket on your handy using a
headphone adapter if neces-
sary.
2. Switch on the PL -200 and
adjust to suitable volume.
3. Use your mobile phone in
the normal way (making and
receiving calls).
4. Switch off the amplifier by
turning the volume control
anticlockwise all the way
until you hear a click.
Note
Set the volume control of your
mobile phone to maximum so
you can hear the voice of the
person you are talking to clearly
over any background noise.
Maintenance and care
The PL -200 does not require
any maintenance. If the unit
does become dirty, simply wipe
it clean with a soft, damp cloth.
Never use spirits, thinners or
other organic solvents. Do not
set up the unit where it will be
exposed to full sunlight for long
periods. In addition it must be
protected against excessive
heat, moisture and severe
mechanical shock.
This product is not protected
against splash water. Do not
place any containers filled with
water, such as flower vases, or
anything with an open flame,
such as a lit candle, on or near
the product.
