All models of freezers are manufactured with standard settings, and in most cases, they need no
extra adjustments. If you still need to modify the settings, follow the instructions below.
5.1 When the power is on, the SETBY LED lights up. The left side of the display shows the
temperature, the right side shows the voltage.
5.2 During chilling, the FRESH LED lights up, and the left side of the display shows the chilling
temperature.
5.3 During freezing, the AUTO LED lights up, and the left side of the display shows the chilling
temperature.
5.4 When both chilling and freezing modes are active, the left side of the display will flash to
indicate the temperature of both modes.
5.5 If an error occurs, the information about it will be displayed on the left side of the display. If
power protection has tripped, information about it will be displayed on the right side of the
display.
Button descriptions:
The SET button is needed to change the factory settings. These settings may only be
modified by a qualified service engineer. If necessary, contact the dealer where you
purchased this equipment.
The Chill button activates the chilling function and is also used to change the
temperature in the selected mode. This function is only available in the HKN-FIC50SXL
model for chilling the salad bar.
The Freeze button starts the freezing process and is also used to change the
temperature in the selected mode.
