- The door sill covers for the left- and right-hand side of the vehicle are different; make sure
that you use the correct sill cover on each side of the vehicle.
- Do not remove the protective film strips until just before you actually adhere the sill cover.
Carefully line up the strips with the markings and gently press down on them.
Please note: When positioning the door sill covers on the vehicle sill
during the adhesion procedure, always proceed with the utmost care.
If a sill cover has been lightly applied, it can still be removed but you
must ensure that this does not result in any damage to the paint on
the vehicle sill.
- Check that the sill covers are positioned correctly. If they are, carefully press down on each
of the door sill covers by hand (with a contact pressure of at least 80 N).

- Press down on the door sill covers again approximately 15 minutes after adhering them.
- Use a suitable cleaning agent to clean off the guide marks.
Please note: Sufficient adhesion is not guaranteed if the door sill
covers are removed and then readhered. It is therefore important to
ensure that the door sill covers are positioned correctly before you
actually adhere them.

Once the door sill covers have been adhered, the vehicle must be stored in a protected
environment for 6 hours (at a temperature between 18 and 30 °C).
