Operation
Check size of the brake pipe and choose suitable gripping
jaws (5, 6, or 7). Put brake pipe in between the jaws.
Use the jaws in order to create the desired flare
(90° respectively 45°).
Use the tensioning screw to lock the brake pipe in between
the jaws.
!!!Make sure that the brake pipe is flush with the jaws and the
tensioning screw has been tightened so that the brake pipe
will not slip out during the operation!!!
Use a ratchet to tighten the screw and firmly press the jaws
together.
Turn the pressure plate (2) onto the spindle
WITHOUT TIGHTENING IT YET !
