Application of 3M Protective Film
This solution is intended to be an interim measure related to 10E-038 (Webasto Aftermarket Sunroof Recall)
only in the event that there may be a temporary shortage of available Hollandia 900 replacement glass pan-
els. This is not a permanent remedy. Please advise our customer(s) that we are making every effort to avoid
the need for multiple visits to you in order to correct this problem.
IMPORTANT: This film should only be applied to fully cured paint which has not been touched-up.
Film Installation:
1 Perform all sunroof functions (single vent, dou-
ble vent, full open, full close to verify function-
ality)
2 Disable available power to the sunroof (best
practice is to remove power wires from power
source).
NOTE: Test to verify that functionality has
been disabled before continuing.
3 Thoroughly clean painted roof surface and
glass panels with Isopropyl Alcohol, window
cleaner, or similar cleaner to a minimum dis-
tance of 4" / 100 mm to either side of the sun-
roof edge profile (trim ring). This will ensure a
clean area to which you will apply the enclosed
clear film, overlapping both the glass and
painted roof surface.
