Problem
Knocking
noise in the
water pipes.
The dishes
are not
clean.
Cloudy
glassware.
White spots
appearing
on glasses
and dishes.
Black or
grey marks
on dishes.
Detergent
still in
dispenser.
Possible Causes
This may be caused
by either the on-site
installation or the
cross-section of the
piping.
The dishes were not
loaded correctly.
The program was not
powerful enough.
Not enough
detergent was
dispensed.
Items are blocking
the movement of the
spray arms.
The filter
combination is not
clean or is not fitted
correctly. This may
cause the spray
arms to be blocked.
Combination of soft
water and too much
detergent.
Hard water can
cause limescale
deposits.
Aluminium utensils
have rubbed against
the dishes.
Dishes block the
dispenser.
What to Do
This does not affect the performance of the
dishwasher. If in doubt, contact a qualified
plumber.
See Part II: Preparing and Loading Dishes.
Choose a more intensive program.
Use more detergent or change the
detergent you are using.
Rearrange the items in the dishwasher so
that the spray arms can rotate freely.
Clean and/or fit the filter correctly. Clean
the spray arm jets.
If you have soft water, use less detergent
and select a shorter cycle to wash
glassware.
Add more detergent.
Use a mild abrasive cleaner to eliminate
the marks.
Reload the dishes correctly.
