Check the position of the release lever and the locking lug. They must form a
line.

To open adapter jaw ZB 323 or ZB 221, push the ends of the jaw lever
together. Guide the claws of the open adapter jaw into the grooves of the
pressing collar and hook them into the pins in accordance with Figure F,
steps 1 and 2.
WARNING! The claws of the adapter jaw must fully grasp the pins of the
pressing collar in accordance with Figure F, step 3.

Release both jaw levers.
CAUTION! Danger of crushing! Keep your hands at a safe distance from the
pressing collar.

Perform a preliminary pressing on the pressfitting in accordance with the
operation manual for the pressing tool.
Result
The locking pin is in position 2.

Push the ends of the jaw lever together and remove adapter jaw ZB 323 or
ZB 221 from the pressing collar.

Hook adapter jaw ZB 324 or ZB 222 into the pressing collar in the same way
as with adapter jaw ZB 323 or ZB 221, in accordance with Figure G, steps 1, 2
and 3.
CAUTION! Danger of crushing! Keep your hands at a safe distance from the
pressing collar.

Press the pressfitting in accordance with the operation manual for the
pressing tool.
Result
The locking pin is in position 3.
