LED Power
The green LED labeled "Power" indicates whether the VIT-A2 DSL Tester
is switched on or off. Depending on the position of the flip switch on the
front side of the housing, the LED will either light up in "On / ADSL Test"
mode or not light up in "Off / Line Test" mode.
In addition, the LED will be off in the switch position "On / ADSL Test" if
automatic switch-off of the tester occurs due to low batteries or if a
previously active external power supply is switched off or removed. After
this occurs, in order to switch the tester back on, you must first move the
flip switch to the "Off / Line Test" position and then return it to the "On /
ADSL Test" position.
When you are not using an external power supply, you should switch the
tester off when you are not using it to save battery charge (switch position
"Off / Line Test").
