7. IF EQUIPPED: Remove the nuts, bolts, and
seat stop from the seat support. Transfer the
seat stop to the new seat support. Torque
tighten the nuts to 20–27 Nm (15–20 ft-lb).
IMPORTANT! When installing the seat
support, be sure to check that the shoulder bolts
are properly aligned with the mounting holes in
support should rotate freely around the shoulder
of the bolts.
8. Install the new seat support to the frame with
the shoulder bolts and nuts. Check that the
shoulder bolts are properly aligned before
tightening. Torque tighten the nuts to 20–27
Nm (15–20 ft-lb).
9. Install the lanyard to the new seat support with
the existing hardware. Torque tighten the nut
to 8–12 Nm (6–9 ft-lb).
10. Install the seat to the new seat support and
secure with the existing nuts. Torque tighten
the nuts to 20–27 Nm (15–20 ft-lb).
11. Connect the harness connector to the seat
switch.

13. Lower and secure the seat.
14. Make sure all hardware is tight before using
the mower.
15. Check that the seat functions properly before
mowing.
