Product description

3.1

Use

The motor vehicle system analysis FSA 740 is a
modular diagnostic device used for test engineering
purposes in automotive workshops. FSA 740 records
vehicle-specific signals and routes them via the USB
port to a Windows-based PC. The FSA system software
is installed on the PC.
With a KTS module, is is possible to perform a control
unit diagnosis using ESI[tronic] 2.0
With BEA 055 / BEA 070 and BEA-PC system software,
FSA 740 can be expanded into an exhaust gas
analyzer .

The FSA System software contains the following

The maximum permissible measurement
voltage at the Multi measurement inputs is
60 VDC/30 VAC/42 VACpeak. FSA 740 is therefore
not to be used for measuring isolation from
the supply on electric and hybrid vehicles. We
recommend FSA 050 to measure the absence of
voltage.
For the assessment of measurement results,
confirmed "go" measurement curves can be stored as
reference in the quantity measurement system.

In addition, FSA 740 is prepared for networking with
other systems on the CoRe workshop network.

The scope of delivery depends on the product
variant ordered as well as the optional accessories
ordered, and can deviate from the following list.
If the FSA 740 and the scope of delivery are
operated contrary to the way specified by the
manufacturer in the operating instructions, the
protection provided by the FSA 740 and the
supplied accessories may be compromised.
