5.2 Display
The following will appear on the
19 Large-scale display of parameter (here: mixing time)

20 Parameter symbols; The symbol „vacuum" only shows when
less than 100 % vacuum has been set
21 Selected speed
22 Selected vacuum level
23 Current vacuum level (bar graph)
5.3 On / Off
The appliance is switched on and off at the switch (5, Fig� 1)�
The mixing parameters last used will reappear in the display when the appliance is switched on�
The factory settings will appear the first time the appliance is switched on (see section 5.1).
5.3.1

Standby mode

The appliance will go into standby mode if no button is pressed or it stands idle for more than three min-
utes� The display will be dimmed when this happens�
To leave the standby mode:
⇒ Press any parameter key�
⇒ Turn the control knob�
⇒ Press the control knob�
⇒ Couple the mixing bowl to the appliance�
♦ The mixing parameters last used will reappear in the display�

Setting Mixing Parameters

Procedure for changing a mixing parameter:
⇒ Press parameter key (2)�
♦ The parameter key symbol is shown in the display�
♦ The parameter value is displayed in large-scale characters�
⇒ Turn the control knob (1) to change the value�
♦ The modified values are saved when the mixing bowl is cou-
pled to the device�
In initial state the mixing time is always displayed in large-
scale characters and can also be changed directly without
pressing the parameter key.
TIP - Setting the Vacuum:
Tests with various investment materials have shown that the
best mixing results (smooth, homogeneous casting results) are
obtained at the maximum vacuum setting. As a rule, this also ap-
plies to plasters. In individual instances, independent tests have
shown that - under extremely high vacuum – the partial pressure
in the mixing bowl can sink to a point where bubbles due to boil-
ing can form in certain plasters.
Then reduce the vacuum setting.
