Intended Use

Hand-guided construction cutter for commercial use
for dry cutting of plaster, masonry, cement, tiles and
metal bracing in weather-protected environments
using the application tools and accessories recom-
mended by Würth.
This machine is also intended to be powered by a.c.
generators with sufficient power output that corre-
spond with ISO 8528, design class G2. Compliance
with this Standard in particular is not given when the
so-called distortion factor exceeds 10%. When in
doubt, inform yourself about the generator in use.
For damage caused by usage other then intended,
the user is responsible.
Operating instructions.
Before switching on, check the proper operation of
the wheel guard. Set the wheel guard to the com-
pletely open position and then release it. The wheel
guard must automatically return to the completely
closed position.
Use the construction cutter only with the cover sheet
mounted (see page 4).
When working, pay attention that an operative vac-
uum cleaner is connected. For optimal dust extrac-
tion, carry out a separating cut in clockwise direc-
tion.
Press the locking button only when the motor is
stopped (see page 4).
The self-start prevention lock prevents the power tool
from automatically restarting again, even after a
brief interruption of the power supply, e. g., from a
pulled mains plug. Switch the power tool off and
then on again.

Maintenance and Cleaning

Disconnect the mains plug from electric supply.
When working metal under extreme
operating conditions, it is possible for
conductive dust to settle in the interior of the power
tool. The total insulation of the power tool can be
impaired. Blow out the interior of the power tool via
the ventilation slots frequently with dry and oil-free
compressed air, and connect a residual current
device (RCD) on the line side.
If the supply cord of this power tool is damaged it
must be replaced by a specially prepared cord
available through the Würth customer service cen-
tre.
If required, you can change the following parts
yourself: Application tools, Auxiliary handle.
If the machine should fail despite the care taken in
manufacturing and testing, repair should be carried
out by a Würth Master-Service agent.
For all correspondence and spare parts orders,
always include the article number on the type plate
of the machine.
For the current spare parts list of this machine, log
into the Internet under "http://www.wuerth.com/
partsmanager" or ask for a copy at your nearest
Würth branch office.
Disposal
Power tools, accessories and packaging should be
disposed of for recycling in an environmentally
friendly manner.
Only for EU countries
Do not dispose of power tools into house-
hold waste!
According to the European Guide Lines
2002/96/EC for waste electric and elec-
tronic equipment and its implementation into
national law, power tools that are no longer usable
must be collected separately and recycled in an
environmentally friendly manner.
Warranty
For this Würth tool, we provide a warranty in

undisassembled to a Würth branch office, your

Hand/arm vibrations
The vibration emission level given in this information
sheet has been measured in accordance with a
standardised test given in EN 60745 and may be
used to compare one tool with another. It may be
used for a preliminary assessment of exposure.
The declared vibration emission level represents the
main applications of the tool. However if the tool is
used for different applications, with different acces-
sories or poorly maintained, the vibration emission
may differ. This may significantly increase the expo-
sure level over the total working period.
