Operating instructions.
Wear safety glasses.
Before starting to work, ensure that all pre-
viously described adjustments have been
properly set and checked.
Grinding pipes
Switch on the drive motors for the grinding
belt (1) and for the brake wheel (2). Adjust
the belt speed (3).
Switch the coolant pump (4) on.
Open the coolant supply valve (12) and
direct the beam onto the work piece.
Insert the work piece at least 30 mm into
between the contact pulley and the brake
wheel (Fig. 5).
Push lever (10) slowly forward until the
brake wheel faces against the work piece and
the work piece starts to turn along.
Allow the work piece to run through the
machine. Pull the lever (10) back when the
work piece is still positioned approx. 30 mm
in the guide (Fig. 5).
Carefully remove the work piece out of the
machine with your other hand.
After finishing the work procedure, switch
off the motors and the coolant pump.
When the feed speed is too high or too
low, the inclination of the brake wheel
must be changed.

Repair and customer service.
Repairs may be carried out only by quali-
fied persons in conformity with the valid

Daily maintenance
Open/remove the covers (19)/(31), remove
metal dust and clean the machine from out-
side and inside with compressed air.
Monthly maintenance
Empty/drain the coolant tank via the drain
cock (24). Separate and dispose of the water
and metal dust/sludge.
With each grinding belt replacement
Check the drive pulley, the contact pulley
and the deflection rollers for wear and dam-
age. Have damaged parts replaced.
