Resistance of face shield and ocular visor against liquids has been tested with the following liquids: sulphuric
acid, sodium hydroxide, p-xylene, butan-1-ol, n-heptane.
These visors are intended to be used exclusively with Gallet F2XR helmet.
Eye and Face Protection
Ocular visor and clear face shield are intended to provide resistance and/or protection against mechanical,
liquid chemical and basic physical hazards.
Mesh face shield is intended to provide protection against mechanical impact. These ocular visors and face
shields are not intended to protect against smoke and gas /vapor hazards. Mesh face shield is not intended to
protect against small particles such as sand, splashes of liquids (including molten metal), hot solids, electric
risks.
