1. Power button
: Press the Power Button to switch on the air purifier. When the device first starts, all
of the Control Panel LEDs will illuminate briefly. The air cleaner then switches to the lowest fan speed.
2. Fan speed button
settings, I (low), II (medium), and III (high).
3. Sleep button
: During Sleep Mode, all Control Panel LEDs are shut off after ten seconds for completely
dark operating and speed is reduced to level 1. Use the Sleep Button to turn the Sleep function on or
off. One press turns the Sleep Mode on. Two presses turns the Sleep function off.
4. Timer button
: Use the Timer Button to activate the Timer function as desired. Press once to set a
two-hour timer, twice to set a four-hour timer, and three times to set an eight-hour timer. The correspond-
ing setting is indicated by the LEDs above the button. Press once more to shut the Timer function off
and enable continuous operation.
If the Filter Reset indicator above the Power Button flashes, you must replace the filter system; see the
"Care, maintenance and disposal" section for instructions.
8� Care, maintenance and disposal
Filter System Replacement
The multi-layered filter system assembly will need replacing after about 4,000 operating hours, at which time
the red "Filter" LED will flash above the Power Button.
Replacement filters are available from Customer Service. Please refer to section "Replacement parts" for
further information.
1. Press the Power Button to shut the air purifier off and disconnect the
power cord from the electrical outlet.
2. Remove the front cover by pulling from the top to release its magnetic
clips and then lifting up to disengage the tabs from the slots on the bot-
tom.
3. Remove the filter assembly from the air purifier by pulling on the tab of the
filter.
: To change fan speed, press the Fan Speed buttons. The fan has three speed
