* Settle the child in the seat.
* Place the shoulder straps straight over the child's shoulders.
* Bring both clips of the straps (19) together and lock them into the harness buckle. They will click when
locked into place.
* Carefully pull the central adjustment strap to tighten the shoulder straps until they fit the child snugly.
NOTE! For the safety seat to provide maximum protection, the shoulder straps should be fitted to the
child's body correctly. Make sure that the lap straps are as close as possible to the child's hips and that
they are tightened correctly.

USING THE SEAT IN THE FORWARD FACING POSITION (PART 2) (76 cm-105 cm and over 15 months)
The safety seat can be used in the forward facing position if the child is over 15 months old and
measures at least 76 cm. To provide greater protection for your child, we recommend using the safety
seat in the rear facing position for as long as possible. If the child does not have enough room for his
legs, you can use the safety seat in the forward facing position.
NOTE! Accident statistics confirm that the rear facing position is the safest position for the child to travel
in. Therefore, it is advisable to use the safety seat in the rear facing position for as long as possible.
NOTE! The safety seat can be used in the rear facing position until the child measures 105 cm. The
integrated technology of driving direction control of the safety seat prevents it from being used in the
forward facing position until level 6 of the headrest positions has been reached.
The safety seat should only be used in the forward facing position if:
* The child measures > 76 cm.
* The child is at least 15 months old. It is advisable to use the safety seat in the rear facing position for
as long as possible.
* The headrest covers the indicator when it is correctly adjusted.
* The headrest is set to level 7 or higher.
