Se ng up the HR3 Hand Held EID Tag Reader
Depending on how you intend using the HR3 Reader you may need to perform one or more
of the following procedures:
• Se ng the Reader opera ng mode, see Selec ng an opera ng mode (p 18)
• Se ng the connec on to Scale, see Connec ng to the Scale (p 21).
• Via Bluetooth (wireless)
• Via cable
Note: You can also connect to a computer or other data logging device.

Opera ng modes
The HR3 Reader has two opera ng modes:
Memory Mode:
The captured Electronic ID tag data is stored in the Reader
in sessions un l it is transferred to computer using the MyScale
Pro so ware.
If you are in Memory mode the following screen displays:
Non-Memory Mode:
1. If you are in Non-memory mode the following screen displays:
2. The captured Electronic ID tag data is immediately sent out
the Serial port (via Bluetooth or cable) to a Scale or data
logging device and not stored in memory.
